What is with me and poor research

Well how do I say this? I sorta messed up planing my future out again, but but I can still do the plan just sorta have to well wait. Turns out I cant legally dispatch till I am 23 so if I get out when I am 21 I may end up waiting two years to dispatch. Thank you FAA! I have link with proof of this (http://forums.jetcareers.com/threads/interested-in-dispatch.192697/)
So good job me getting a degree I cant get a job in till basically two years after my earliest I think possible graduation date.

Do not worry I am not Dead

Do not worry I am not dead just been way way busy for the past few months! Whats happened in that time you ask? Well for Starters Passed Astronomy 101 and the Lab for it which was hard as heck for me. Passed English 100 I think (grade has still not come in yet should be in by later today posting this on July 30th at well 12:01ish MDT) Ground School just finished and should be taking the FAA written by end of Aug! My Aviation history course ends next week lets just say its boring yes Jeremy McMillen is saying something Aviation related is well boring but then again you would be too if the class was self paced and was history/learning about Aviation jobs when you know most things about both topics! But now enough of about schoolish type stuff lets move on to what I have been doing other then school. Well for starters odd jobs, having my truck helps because I can do dump runs and charge extra. Hanging with friends of course as many of them are about to leave or have left. Oh yeah, I guess this is also a good time to say oh by the way if any of my Washington Family reads this which I think maybe two of you do three if I am lucky, don't worry I get you are busy and have to check emails and such then do other things, well anyways I am not coming up in Aug I am well coming up in Dec or Jan not sure which yet, because I got sorta lucky and GRCC will let me take a full course load online this coming QT so we figured save the two grand it would of taken for me to pay for the Apartment and use for Spring courses if I do not get much in terms of Grant Money.  Anyways moving on one last thing I have to say I am super proud of my best friend, she got her certificate in Vet Assisting last Thursday! She inspires me to fallow my dreams. Heck, she inspires me in general and I am proud to call her my friend!  Now for recent photos I have taken.
Oh yeah we have a new Smiths its fancy (think Walmart - Guns) and this is the Boss of Kroger's Jet

Cant wait for something

I cant wait to start ground school on the 14th! Yes soon I will be a pilot well first I have to pass ground school then go to actual flight school. Best part is well sorta depending on how you look at it My dad is joining me on this and a few others I know so big shout outs to them! We can do it!  So for those of you who do not know how the processes works to become a pilot You start out in ground school when you are done with it you take an oral and multiple choice test pass both with a 70 I think or higher you go get a class three medical and your student pilot licence then you start earning your stripes/ hours and when you have enough you go threw solos and check rides pass them you get your PPL Privet Pilots License (Dont quote me on this though may have it sorta backwards lol) Anyways when I get that I have a few people in mind who I truly want to take up those who know me well can guess.... Now. Now some of you may be wondering A how am I paying B why not take in collage well A its free! Yes some how it's free because I guess the CFI wants to get more people into flying and B if I pass ground school I dont have to take it as a required collage course for my degrees I want

I do not know what to do!

Well as some of you know I went on a tour of ZAB and ABQ Terminal/TRACON yesterday (2/16/14 is when this should post so 2/15/14). Of course I asked questions but I found out some bad news as of Dec 30th 2013 the CTI program A no longer gives you any priority at the FAA. As if that was bad enough for me Found out B that it is true they are taking applications right now and C while I can not confirm this you have to be 19 D they normally only take lots of applications 1-3 times every 10 or so years so its like crap I may miss it with no fault of my own and if that was not bad enough they want either a bachelors degree or three years of work experience or a mix ENMR will only give me an associates. This just messes up my entire plan! As some of you who know me very well I hate hate school so I had planed to do as little school as possible I mean its the best option for me. Knowing that My plan was go for ENMR's associates degree in applied science Air Traffic Control, while waiting for the FAA to call me I would then go for Eastern New Mexico's Aviation Science Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science or their Aviation Science Bachelor of Science if FAA called me between when I started and when I finished it then fine I would go to OKC then finish when I had the time and Money (both are mostly if not all online which could help). I wish I could use my auto classes as three years of job exsperince yes I could just go for the bachlers now but like I said I hate school but I knw it looks good to have a bachlers so that's why I was like my orginal plan works for me cuz enmrs stuff would quickly transfer to easterns stuff and I would only have to take maybe a year and a 1/2 of classes

I do not know what to do

I done messed up

Man I feel stupid I may of used a wiki type thing on an essay for HFA I had a 75/75 on it then yesterday she leaves the class a little online thing saying don't use Wikipedia as a sources its not credible and I looked at my grade it had gone to I am regrading your essay so now I sit and wait to find out if I messed up or not if you want to read it here you go (copy and past link or click on it) (Oh if you need translation on any terms used in essay leave a comment, and it was three pages when I printed it and when I saved as a word doc and its 650-700 words can not recall exact)

Well I passed!!!!!!

Well for the one or two people that read this blog I am proud to say I passed both Aviation Physics and Aviation Weather. Physics with a flat 70% which is just barely enough to get a recommendation to the FAA from ENMR and  Weather was a 77%. Not the best in the world I know I could of done better but hey it brought me down to Earth as in it reminded me one thing you can never stop learning about something you love and you will never know everything about the thing you love more then anything well I love two people more God and this one girl not going to say her name but you get my point. Anyways next semester I am taking stress management and Human Factors in Aviation and I cant wait!

Aviation Physics will kill me/ A little Veterans Day thank you

As you can probably tell from the post I am just having issues with my Aviation Physics Course. I am decent with Physics, but for some strange reason I cant connect aviation and Physics. I need to find someone who can help me with it should not be too hard to find someone in this town. Oh My aviation weather course still holding a B! This is a little tiny update. Now for Veterans day Thank You.

Dear Vets,

On this Day I would like to thank you for your service. No matter what you agreed to serve and defend your country and our freedoms, to the best of your ability. You knew the risks and excepted them. You charged into battle with out thinking why. You just did! So today of all days America thanks you, but we should thank you all everyday!

So what exactly am I taking

So as of now I am taking two classes a math class which we will not talk about (its not that important okay yes math is important but its basically college algebra nothing to special) and the other class is a course in aviation security. The course its self is online so makes life easy for me as I don't have set time when I need to log on or anything, in fact most of the courses I will be taking this year as I plan on taking two more in the fall two more in spring then two the summer in between when I graduate from high school and when I head down to ENMR (Eastern New Mexico Roswell). Now you must be thinking to your self why in the world are you taking so many courses now, well a little thing called the sequester is the cause, When we went down to ENMR over spring break last year, the instructor well dean of program and one of the instructors for the program said I should start now, or as soon as I can so I am in the pipe so if I did well on a little aptitude test and she gives me her recommendation to the FAA in about three years I still had a chance to be interviewed and sent to the FAA training. So that's why I am trying to do as many courses as I can now to get them done and up to KOKC sooner then later, plus as I am in High School I get the courses for free thanks to my High School picking up tab and the summer stuff that's free as our local community collage gives a summer bridge scholarship where I take two basic courses which for me would be English and writing as this is the last math I need to take yes I took one last summer as well figured if they give it to me free may as well do it right?
Now lets talk about the course its self other then the fact its 100% on line. We do two chapters a week post something we learn on the two chapters and then take a quiz on them by Saturday night. The text book is very well written except I have found one small error they had a photo of a TED A320 which they called a Boeing 757. The book has opened my eyes to many aspects of TSA, and airline/government rules which I had never heard of, granted I am an Airplane Geek and not a Security/Law freak but still figured I would know some of them nope I did not know much of the rules and such so I am enjoying the course just because its something New to me Plane Related (NPR)

Welcome

So as this is the first blog post of Contact Departure I may as well introduce my self I am Jeremy a 18 year old high school senior (don't ask long story) who is well sorta enrolled in Eastern New Mexico Roswell Air Traffic Control Program which is one of 32 in the nation allowed by the FAA. The intention of this blog is to basically fallow my journey from a high school kid to a certified FAA employed Air Traffic Controller. So come with me!
